Night kitchen reset
Mess first. Then the after. This is the one that makes morning quieter.
- Dishes out of the sink. Load or wash. Don’t leave them ‘for later.’
- Clear the island. Trash, mail, and the one thing that isn’t food.
- Wipe counters. One cloth. Don’t start a deep clean.
- Floor only where you walked. Then lights off.

45 min
Sunday reset
Kitchen plus a few rooms so Monday doesn’t start behind.
- Fridge: toss what you won’t eat. Wipe the shelf you actually see.
- Reset the coffee bar so Monday morning is already done.
- One load of towels. One basket back where it lives.
- Walk the house once. Fix only what you can see from the doorway.

30 min
Friday reset
Close the week. Guest-ready without pretending the house is always perfect.
- Kitchen counters and the table. That’s the room people see.
- Bathrooms: sink, mirror, trash. Skip the baseboards.
- Entry: shoes, bags, the pile by the door.
- Light a candle or make coffee. You’re done.

15 min
15-minute island
When you only have a sliver. Clear it. Wipe it. Done.
- Everything off the island that doesn’t belong.
- One wipe. Front to back.
- Put back only the bowl, the candle, or the mug.
- Stop. Do not start the rest of the kitchen.
